Wake Up and Get BuzZen!

Do you ever feel like you’re walking through your life in a sort of trance? Do you sometimes fall into bed at night wondering if you’ve actually accomplished anything in the last 18 hours? Do you find yourself feeling like your life is really just a series of appointments, lessons, duties, lists, and obligations? Have you heard that quiet voice inside you whispering… “Is this all there is?”

If you’re a yes to any of these questions, you are certainly not alone. So many people are finding themselves in this same dilemma, wondering how they let themselves get to this point and if it will ever end. Sometimes you may feel like you’re just drifting along – not really thinking or choosing or creating any of it – just trying to deal with what shows up.

The good news is it doesn’t have to be like this. Everyday more and more people are choosing to wake up, and tune into their lives. They are learning to live conscious and powerful lives of their own intentional creation. You can do it too!

When you Wake Up, your life will shift from ordinary to extraordinary and nothing will ever be the same. Here are just a few reasons why Waking Up is a GOOD thing!

1. It’s Healthier
In my coaching programs, we do a lot of work with the mind/body connection. Science is beginning to prove what many healers have known all along – illness and disease are often caused by negative emotions (fear, worry, sadness, anger, depression).

You Can Heal Your Life, by Louise Hay is one of my favorite books on this topic. What’s great about discovering this link between mind and body is once you learn to control your mental state, you will naturally impact your physical ills.

The body is most likely to develop a physical symptom when you are unconscious to a particular negative emotion. I think of this as the Universe’s way of prompting us to wake up.

Let’s say for example you develop a stiff neck. Instead of stressing about what is wrong, spending hundreds or thousands of dollars trying to have it diagnosed by a traditional medical doctor, or suffering through it for several days or weeks, you can simply use it as a signal to become conscious.

You consult Louise Hay’s book and discover that neck problems represent stubbornness and inflexibility and difficulty seeing other sides of an issue.

You ask yourself, “Where am I being this way in my life?”

Suddenly it occurs to you that you’ve been in a disagreement with your spouse about the “best” way to handle a financial matter and the light bulb goes on…

As you change your thoughts to being open and flexible and shift your actions to match, your neck will naturally (and usually QUICKLY) heal itself, and you’ll be back to buzzen along.
